What is Green Money Transfer?
Green Money Transfer is a person to person mobile money transfer facility. This initiative has been taken looking at the non-banking sector of the population and offer the easiest way of money transfer through Corporation Bank Tata PCO.
What are benefits of Green Money Transfer?
Safe: Green is protected with banking grade security and is a safe way to send money across the country.
Easy: Customers can send and receive money instantly and only the sender needs to have a bank account.
Convenient: Customers can transfer money from their local Tata PCO without lining up at a distant bank branch.
Fast: Money transfer can be done between two cities/States in a matter of minutes.
Do I need a bank account to register?
If you wish to send money, you will need to open a ‘no frills’ (Zero balance) Corporation Bank account. You can do so by visiting your nearest Green registered Tata PCO outlet to fill the form or approach the nearest branch of Corporation Bank.
Does the recipient need to have an account with Corporation Bank?
No. Recipients do not need a bank account with any bank.
Are there any charges for Green? If yes, who will pay them?
Yes. There is a 5%commission +10.30% service tax on each transaction of Green Money Transfer which will need to be borne by the sender.
How secure are my registration details?
The registration process is protected by banking-grade security and your registration information stays only with the bank. Your registered mobile number is the only information you need to share with the Green registered Tata PCO during the transaction process.
Where are Green services offered?
Green services are offered to all Corporation Bank account holders with Mobile banking activated. Kindly approach your nearest Corporation Bank branch or a listed Tata PCO/or visit www.paymate.co.in for more details.
How can you ensure the safety of my money for this transfer?
Before handing over the money, the sender has to submit a sender form to the Tata PCO agent. The same is also applicable to the recipient who collects money from the Tata PCO. This is safe as both the PCO owners have proof of money transfer with them. The PCO acknowledges the receipt/delivery of the money by a receipt.

How do I know if my transaction was successful or declined?
On a successful transaction, sender will receive a unique transaction ID and a 6-digit Transfer Code as a confirmation.
How long does it take to complete a transaction?
For an end-to-end transaction to complete, it may take as little as 5 minutes or as long as 7 days. The recipient should collect the amount within 7 days of the transaction initiated by the sender.
Can I have the list of PCO owners in my area?

Does the recipient need any proof while collecting the payment?
Yes. The recipient must have the transfer code and will need to fill up the Receipt Form at the Tata PCO. The recipient will also need to show any one of the below mentioned government recognized documents.

What if I forget my Corporation Bank M-PIN?
Please contact Corporation Bank directly to retrieve your M-PIN.
Can I change my M-PIN?
Yes. You can change your M-PIN by requesting your bank.

I have deleted the transfer code, how can I get a new code?
Please contact customer care on 022-67242626 for assistance.
Does the merchant where I am transacting, have an access to my bank account?
No. The PCO owner does not have any access to your bank account.
Can I change my mobile number?
Yes. Please contact your nearest Corporation Bank branch to change your mobile number.
What if the recipient does not receive the money in spite of sharing the code?
A PCO agent cannot deny money to the recipient. However, in case recipient is refused cash amount, then please contact  your  sender, customer support on 022-67242626 or visit your nearest Corporation Bank branch with the details of the PCO owner.
Can I link my existing Corporation Bank account for Green services?

What is the transaction limit for Green?
Your maximum transaction limit per day is Rs.5000 and per month is Rs.50,000.
